The Big Picture:
As we told you previously, the U.S. Space Force is a 'go' and will be carved out of the Air Force. Now the newly appointed Space Force Chief of Space Operations, Gen. John “Jay” Raymond, is looking at designating several Air Force bases—ones that already house space units—as Space Force Bases. On the list are: Vandenberg Air Force Base (AFB) in California; Peterson AFB, Schriever AFB, and Buckley AFB in Colorado; and Patrick AFB in Florida. Stay tuned.
