Hitchhiker's Ride to the Galaxy

The Big Picture:

According to SpaceNews.com, NASA wants to hitch a ride on a 15- to 30-day commercial mission to the International Space Station no later than 2024. Ride-sharing is cool, but only up to 4 passengers allowed. This is part of its Lower Earth Orbit (LEO) commercialization strategy to, um, commercialize the LEO space.

Heads Up

NASA's only seeking white papers from potential mission providers right now. Be on the lookout for a formal request for proposals in March 2020.
